You should start by looking for any negative reputation and then figuring out if what you are reading is legitimate. Can you get any word of mouth recommendations from someone you know? Have you been through their website to make sure you know what you are getting? Being cautious is a good quality when it comes to coin minting. You can never take it slow enough or you will find yourself with the lowest quality coin at the highest price before you know it.

Checking out the portfolio makes a world of difference. many companies don’t offer samples so you need to know upfront what their products look like. You should see what images they offer on their site. You need to be interviewing the company like it’s a job interview. Is the coins really made in the U.S. or are they telling you it is then sending the order to an overseas factory? You are going to bite the bullet unless you are with a transparent company.
